Skim regularly
Skimming the surface every few days is one of the fastest ways to keep your pool clean. Floating debris eventually sinks, becoming harder to remove. Skimming also boosts circulation efficiency and lowers chlorine demand.
Test the water
The pH scale runs from 0 to 14. A reading between 7.2 and 7.8 is ideal — safe for swimmers and helps sanitizers work at top efficiency.
Watch for chloramines
Organic contaminants like ammonia or nitrogen build up over time. Large amounts can interact with chlorine to form chloramines, which give off the potent "chlorine smell" many people associate with pools.

What types of pool maintenance services do you offer?
We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and once-a-month pool maintenance, as well as green pool treatments, filter cleanings, and equipment repairs.
Do you close pools for winter in Texas?
In Central Texas, most companies generally do not close pools because our winters are so mild. It is normally cost effective to leave them open.
How often should I get my filters cleaned?
We recommend every six months, with a bare minimum of once a year.
How often should I change the sand in my sand filter?
Rule of thumb: every 3 to 5 years.
What's included in your weekly service?
A visit every week where we brush, net, and vacuum the pool. We check chemicals, shock and balance, clean out baskets, inspect equipment, and backwash the filter. You'll also receive a once-a-week report with a picture of your pool when we leave.
Do you offer maintenance on saltwater pools?
